Dear Singers,
Matt reports that you had a very good rehearsal last week, making progress on listening, rounded vowels, & increasing tempi.
I am very grateful for this, and to Ian for his support, thank you.
I had a fulfilling two days in Truro, adjudicating for their Music Festival. It is a larger enterprise than Exeter's although I didn't hear any of the choirs. I mainly had solo singers, some jazz piano, and some excellent Music Theatre performances from secondary school pupils. The standard and quality of most were very high, with a lovely atmosphere, and it was very heartening to see so many youngsters still engaging in arts activities. The first day began with a two-hour workshop for 100 primary school children, which was incredibly energising and a lot of fun.
Talking of which......
HERE IS WHAT WE WILL DO ON 18.03.25

Keep signing up for the workshop - very useful opportunity to cover a lot of Mozart!
Looking forward to seeing you all next week.
