Queridas y queridos cantantes,

Welcome to my final 'notes' of the term....

• I note that we covered everything in the programme last night well done and thank you for working so hard. 

• Misa Criolla page 32, 33 & 35 (Sanctus) - I note that we have never sung these 'Oos'. Apologies, they always got overlooked. Don't worry, we'll leave them out, it's not a problem. Just sing the Donos la paz with extra pleading and passion at the end!

• I hope you have made notes of any words or sections that you could usefully look at and practise before Saturday

• We whizzed through The holly and the ivy tune at the end of the rehearsal; it's the last piece in the concert. Here is a copy of the music - please check it out if it's unfamiliar to you

So, it's nearly performance time. The only notes that matter now are the ones you sing in the concert, and how we communicate them. The capacity audience will note your energy, passion and enjoyment!

I look forward to seeing you on Saturday, seated and ready to sing at 13.00 - take note!
