Exeter Choral Society is a friendly non-auditioning mixed-voice choir; we perform two concerts each year with professional soloists and musicians. We are a registered charity (number 1110060). Our musical Director is Peter Hunt.

We will be performing Mozart's Requiem and Mass in B flat minor by Hummel. We will be joined by soloists and orchestra.

7REHEARSALS
We rehearse in central Exeter at the Palace Gate Centre (South Street Baptist Church), Exeter EX1 1JA on Tuesday evening from September until May at 7.15 pm to 9.15 pm (we have access to the rehearsal room from 6 pm). From Tuesday 7 January 2025 we will be rehearsing for our Spring concert.

New to the area? Always wanted to join a choir, would like to rejoin a choir, or just fancy giving singing a go? Then come along and try Exeter Choral Society.
New members are very welcome to join our friendly choir. It is preferable if you can please contact us if you would like to join us, so that we can provide you with more information. No audition is necessary, but some sight reading ability is helpful. Membership is a minimum of £50 per term (there is a small reduction for full-time students with a valid NUS card).

- Head for Exeter Town Centre. Palace Gate Centre is near the junction of of South Street and Palace Gate
- The nearest car parks are 'Cathedral and Quay' - free after 6 pm, or Magdalen Street (charges apply until 10 pm)
- The closest train station is Exeter Central
- The closest bus stops are on South St/St George's Meeting House and High Street.
