Exeter Choral Society is a friendly non-auditioning mixed-voice choir; we perform two concerts each year with professional soloists and musicians. We are a registered charity (number 1110060). Our musical Director is Peter Hunt.
OUR NEXT CONCERT

We will be performing Mozart's Requiem and Hummel's Mass in B flat major. We will be ably supported by four aspiring young soloists and an orchestra of local players.

When - Saturday 10 May 2025 at 7.00 pm

REHEARSALS
We rehearse in central Exeter at the Palace Gate Centre (South Street Baptist Church), Exeter EX1 1JA on Tuesday evening from September until May at 7.15 pm to 9.15 pm (we have access to the rehearsal room from 6 pm). Our next term commences on Tuesday 2 September 2025.

New to the area? Always wanted to join a choir, would like to rejoin a choir, or just fancy giving singing a go? Then come along and try Exeter Choral Society.

New members are very welcome to join our friendly choir. It is preferable if you can please contact us if you would like to join us, so that we can provide you with more information. No audition is necessary, but some sight reading ability is helpful. Membership is a minimum of £50 per term (there is a small reduction for full-time students with a valid NUS card).

  • Head for Exeter Town Centre, EX1 1JA. Palace Gate Centre (behind South Street Baptist Church) is off of South Street at 3 Palace Gate
  • The nearest car parks are Magdalen Street and Smythen Street (charges apply until 10 pm)
  • The closest train station is Exeter Central
  • The closest bus stops are on South St/St George's Meeting House and High Street.
