Exeter Choral Society is a friendly non-auditioning, mixed-voice choir; we perform two concerts each year with professional soloists and musicians. We are a registered charity (number 1110060).
The Trustees regret that, in the light of Government advice, it was prudent to cancel rehearsals for the rest of the Spring term and to postpone our May 2020 concert. We hope to be able to pick up where we left off, when feasible.
Meanwhile choir members are commencing some singing sessions with Laurence Blyth via Zoom, from September 2020.
All choir members should receive occasional email updates from the choir - if you have not had these, please check your Spam folder or contact the Secretary, to ensure that she has your correct email address, using the Contact Us form.
Missing singing? Why not try an online choir until we meet again?
The Self-Isolation Choir has a full programme of music for 2020 and into 2021, following the extremely popular YouTube rehearsals and streamed performance of Handel's Messiah in May.
Visit https://www.theselfisolationchoir.com for full details of all that is on offer.
The Stay at Home Choir is at https://stayathomechoir.com
In normal circumstances, we rehearse in central Exeter at the Palace Gate Centre (South Street Baptist Church), Exeter EX1 1JA
on Tuesday evenings (September to May) at 7.15 pm until 9.00 pm.
